We can consider a progress of 50% of completion on the two phases of the project
· Optical spectroscopy: The light sensor is reading the lux from the IR light thru Arduino and display the data, a program in C was written for that purpose
· Impedance Analyzer: We were able to communicate the AFE4300 with the microcontroller Arduino and display HEX and Binary values but we couldn’t convert this to true values which are Extra cellular water and Body Water Composition

Seems that we will be able to have data readings for the impedance analyzer and for the optical spectroscope

The electrodes we originally planned on using greatly affected our readings. Because of this, we have to creat our own cables using coaxial cables. We are applying 20 mA through the outer ones and measuring the voltage difference between the inner ones. The software would then calculate the impedance and the phase angle, along with other parameters (ECW, ICW, TBW, etc.). Considerations include height, weight, sex, probe locations and IQ mode.
