Renewing Books
This short video will show you how to access your library borrower record and renew your books.
To access your library record you will need the number on your student card and your 4-digit library PIN.
There is a separate video to show you how to find your library PIN.
First go to the Library Homepage. There is a link from the University Homepage or you can go straight to www.bradford.ac.uk/library
Choose the “Renew Books” option under the Quick Links.
Enter the number on your student card and your library PIN.
Click login.
The first screen tells you which books you have on loan.
Tick the box beside the items you wish to renew and click “Renew Selected”.
The next screen will ask you if you wish to continue. Check the details are correct then click YES.
The next screen shows which books have been renewed and where there are any problems.
In this example one book cannot be renewed because another reader has placed a hold on it.
This book would need to be returned by the due date.

In the borrower information screen you can also see:
· Holds you have placed to reserve books.
· Any outstanding fines.
· Catalogue searches you have saved.
· And which books you have previously borrowed.
Problems renewing books, you will not be able to renew books if:
Your book has been reserved by another reader or you have fines over five pounds.
If you have fines over five pounds you will not be able to borrow books or laptops, reserve books or use the group study rooms.
Always remember to log out if using a public machine.
