l Task force reports
New form of government. Presented background material and the process. The material is available at the presbytery web site, particularly the resource guide.
Task force on proposed amendments to the book of order.
■ Recommended “yes” votes on all proposed amendments except amendment 08-I having to do with certified Christian educators on which the task force recommended a “no” vote.
l Worship led by pastor Jack Schut, including sacrament of Holy Communion.
l Lunch prepared by the women of the Tutuilla Presbyterian Church
l Vote on the proposed amendments
Vote to adopt the recommendations of the task force on all items except item 08-B passed by show of hands
After discussion with comments by 5 people, the motion to approve amendment 08-B was adopted by a ballot vote of 22 to 6.
l Mission Sharing

Summary of shared mission program, including resource library, leadership conferences, university and college student centers, and shared ministry training.
Individual congregation mission stories
■ Baker City - Funeral dinners for non-members, Sr Center Meals, Youth – relay for Life, Crop Walk; Food Bank, Thanksgiving food baskets joint with 7th Day Adventist
■ Burns - Increasing general mission giving to 10%. Peacemaking offering to Oregon Youth Authority.
■ Dayville - Doors always unlocked welcoming cyclists on way through Dayville.
■ Ukiah - Food Bank, 300-400 people per month.
■ Mt. Vernon - AA meetings. Up to 2 per week. Souper bowl of caring,
■ Hermiston - Agapee House, Habitat for Humanity, Angel Tree, Gift baskets for new visitors to church, parish nurse. School age meal backpacks. 100-120 per week. Agape house provides food.
■ LaGrande - Financial support to 5 organizations, members serve on boards of 4 of these. Emergency aid fund request support on communion Sundays. Friday Backpack program. 11 in October, 49 now. Boy Scout troop. AA meetings. Trained with Red Cross as emergency food site for disaster. Parish Nurse, One Great Hour of Sharing
■ Lostine - Grief Support group for community. Fund raising meals of others, Christmas and thanksgiving baskets. Main supporter of county food bank. Craft and produce cooperative, food and crafts.
■ Milton-Freewater - Increased spirit willing to get out and innovate. Book group, McLarin, Everything Must Change.
■ Pendleton First - Salvation Army Lunch, Helping Hand, Net Workers, 4 General Assembly special offerings, Souper Bowl, Transient Aid, Fair trade crafts, Relay for Life Team
■ Pilot Rock - food bank, transient aid. AA in church, Bible Study Thursday mornings, Church School for adults and kids each Sunday.
■ Tutuilla - Participating in OGHS, Last Sunday of the month pot luck lunch
■ Umatilla - Ring Praise tonight, pre-school with 16 3-year olds and 4 year olds. Crafty Ladies with proceeds for to local projects. DARE, Tonya's house.
l The request by the Lostine church for approval of a $74,000 Muzzy loan was referred to the Trustees for study and to the Presbytery Council for decision.
l Rev. Kate Bottorff made a brief report from the meeting of the Synod of the Pacific and distributed insurance checklists for churches.
