BACKGROUND

Rosa is the UK’s first Fund for women and girls. The decision to develop a UK-wide women’s fund follows over ten years of research and consultations with women’s initiatives, public and institutional funders, trusts and foundations and corporate funders. Since her birth in June 2008, the year that marked the 80th anniversary of women achieving full voting rights in the UK, Rosa has been building her capacity to support women’s initiatives. Numerous partnerships have been forged with fellow funders and Rosa has already distributed a number of grants under the areas of safety, leadership and health and wellbeing.

Rosa is now entering the next stage of her development and to do this, she is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and capable assistant to support the Executive Director.
