The undersigned does hereby agree that the following terms and conditions apply at the 8th Annual Yucca Valley Gourd Art Festival, sponsored by the Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce & the Town of Yucca Valley:

· All spaces are AC/Indoors/Rain or shine

· Exhibiting artists are allowed to sell ONLY work they have created. NO IMPORTS or 3rd party artwork is allowed.

· Exhibitors selling tools, books, and supplies can only sell items that have been pre-approved through the exhibitor application process. Selling unapproved items may be grounds for immediate removal.

· Exhibitors must set up within the allocated space or spaces paid for. All spaces will be marked.

· No dogs, with the exception of service dogs, are allowed in the buildings.

· Once an exhibitor has been accepted, there are no refunds, and the exhibitor has obligated himself/herself to attend the event.

· Exhibitors/Vendors are requested to donate a gourd art piece or supplies for the raffle.

· Gourd Artists are highly encouraged to enter one gourd for the competition at $15 charge. Each additional entry is $5 per gourd or 3 for $10. Cash Awards for First Place only, Ribbons for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in all categories.

· VIP Reception - Friday Night, November 18 5-7:30pm.

o Exhibitors/Vendors set-up begins at 3pm and must be completed by 5pm

o Attire desert casual.

o Check with committee if you wish to bring a potluck dish to share

· Approved vendors will be given a detailed information sheet about set-up, parking, etc.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

I understand I am completely responsible for the safety of my artwork and personal property, including vehicles, at all times while on the Festival grounds and Town of Yucca Valley’s Community Center.

I understand that it is my responsibility to comply with all applicable county, state, and federal regulations and laws. I indemnify and hold harmless the Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Yucca Valley from all damages, cost and expenditures, including attorney’s fees and costs of defense which may occur by reason of use of the facilities.

Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce, including the Board of Directors, all staff, personnel and volunteers, are hereby absolved of any liability or obligation for any losses, costs, or damages and shall be held harmless and blameless against any claim made for the benefit of the undersigned exhibitor.

A copy of your current exhibitors/vendors State Board of Equalization Resale License must accompany this application if you are planning to sell during the event.
