Batu Niah Junction
· (Not to be confused with Batu Niah Town which is 11Km away. When you want to take a bus from the cities to Niah Caves National Park, the bus ticket counters in the cities would always tell you "Yes, we have bus to Batu Niah". This has fooled many travellers to believe that they are taking a bus directly to the Niah Caves. Then during midway, the bus conductors would drop you off at this junction and tell you that here is "Batu Niah". Travellers only to realized that this is only the highway junction and that the Caves is another 12 Km meters away via a country road and there is never a bus to go there. The only transport here at the junction to the Niah National Park is private taxi. )

Superb orange color roof, elegant lotus design motif, this largest Taoist temple in Southeast Asia on Jalan Krokop 9, 4 Km outside of Miri center, is an impressive and atmospheric place to visit. Completed in 2000 after 3 years construction and cost RM10 million (USD3.5 million). Decorations and motif were imported from China. The roof adorned with dragons, elegant lotus design motif and the delightful wind chimes make this an atmospheric place to visit.
