Oxon Hill Freshmen Students and Parents/Guardians,

On 13 December 2016 from 6:30 – 7:30pm, there will be an informational Freshmen Technology Night in the Oxon Hill High School Lecture Hall.

For the duration of the time, students and parents/guardians will have the opportunity to be exposed to how to properly use Google platform properly that is utilized in Oxon Hill High School and Prince George’s County Public Schools. The following within the platform will be discussed:

· Google Docs

· Google Slides

· Access to Google Classroom

· Google Calendar

Understanding how to properly navigate through these tools, and knowing how to utilize them for coursework is imperative to all of our student’s success in our 1:1 school. All courses at Oxon Hill High School implement this platform within their daily instruction. Our Freshmen Technology Night will help to give both students and parents/guardians the necessary knowledge to use the above mentioned within, and outside of the classroom.
