Due to the increase in number of tables being played on Mondays a motion by Jerry Holtzman was made that we have 2 directors when there are 16 tables or more. Motion seconded by Mike Heflin and carried.
It was announced that a nominating committee composed of Rita Jo Holtzman and two others will work
on a slate of new board members to present to our group before the November election.
It was suggested that we have a committee to be aware of possible locations that our group might be interested in leasing as our “own place” as the savings increase. Charlotte Moore was suggested to head this committee.
There was discussion about the noise level at our games and the slow play.
Directors will work at keeping the levels of noise down and will use the clock to enforce the play moving along at a constant pace.
It was noted that members need to be careful about wearing perfume (strong or excessive) since some members are very sensitive.
The next meeting will be October 27, 2017 at 4:30 P.M. Meeting adjourned.
