The meeting was called to order by Katrina Liebst. Introductions made and icebreaker done.

Curt Moody, from Moody-Nolan, presented several building schemes for the Ohio Union. He explained what a feasibility study is and what should be accomplished by it. He also explained the progression of the schemes based upon discussion and feedback received from the Feasibility Committee, the Design Review Board, focus group sessions, and surveys.

The Council asked questions regarding the building flexibility, cost comparison of a new building vs. renovation of the current building and the time factors relating to each. There was a meeting today regarding the financials and the possibility of development dollars. The council will be updated as soon as the financials have been determined.

Eileen Goodman, from Moody Nolan, touched a little bit on the focus group/feedback sessions that were held on Monday, March 10. We had over 175 participants (students, faculty, and staff) share their opinions on what they would and/or would not like as far as interiors in a new union.

What is the next step? Determine finances, determine who will approve the project, hire an architect, start process.
