Wednesday, December 11th – Dress Rehearsal
(Mandatory attendance)
Where: All rehearsals are in the Hoover Elementary School Cafeteria. There is a
performance for their classmates at 10:00 a.m. on December 11th. The performance for parents and relatives is on Wednesday evening, December 11th at 7:00 p.m. at Neshaminy High School’s “Theodore Kloos Auditorium”.
When: Rehearsals will begin promptly at 7:55 A.M. Students should arrive as close to 7:40 as possible in order to set up the band, unpack instruments and be ready to
play by 7:55. I will be at Hoover by 7:00. You are more than welcome to drop
off your child as early as 7:15 if you need to get to work.
* Attendance at each rehearsal by every band member is Mandatory! Absences from band rehearsals must be followed up with an excuse note or a Doctors note (if
a Doctor’s note is available). Carpools are encouraged.
* If school is closed or opens late, there will be no rehearsal that morning.
Parents and Students: Please be mindful of the fact that the success of the band is a group effort. Every individual student must try to do his or her part at home and at school in order for the band to be successful. I’m looking forward to a great year!
