MCT's 2015 Season Annual Giving Campaign

P.O. Box 26144 Collegeville, PA 19426 www.Methactoncommunitytheater.org

Dear MCT Patron,

It is with great pleasure that we announce our 2015 Season and continue the return of MCT's annual giving campaign. Our 2014 season saw high crowds and a lot of returning faces to MCT. We recently finished moving our props and costumes into a new storage space. The new space will not only be more organized but will help speed up retrieval and returns of props and costumes. MCT is still currently looking for a permanent home and any ideas for locations would be extremely helpful.

Our 2015 season opens with our Dinner Theater production of Mother Truckers by Sapperstein & Murway. Two full figured sisters have worked hard all their lives but have never quite gotten out of “Trailer Park” status. Watch the fun as they try to deal with Maxine’s husband’s death and the new semi rig he just bought. The road will never be the same again. Our spring musical show, The Secret Garden, is directed by our first lady of MCT, Nicolette Adams. Orphaned in India, 11 year-old Mary Lennox returns to Yorkshire to live with her embittered, reclusive uncle Archibald and his invalid son Colin. The estate's many wonders include a magic garden which beckons the children with haunting melodies and the "Dreamers", spirits from Mary's past who guide her through her new life, dramatizing The Secret Garden's compelling tale of forgiveness and renewal. In the summer, we present Shrek The Musical, directed by Gary Rantz, based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film. This TONY Award-winning fairy tale adventure featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage, and proves there's more to the story than meets the ear. We will conclude the 2015 season with a surprise offering. Due to licensing restrictions, we will not be able to publicly announce the fall show until May 2015. Ask any member, and they will tell you what show we are doing. Directed by Deb Schrager, this musical will bring back the days of the NYC underworld.

MCT has come so far in the last few years - both continuing to expand our season and audience base as well as to challenge our members to create compelling theater. We are asking for your support to help make 2015 our strongest year yet and any donation that you can provide would go a long way in helping MCT continue to grow and find a permanent home. MCT is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization and any gift would be tax deductible. We thank you for your consideration.
