Pool: Schroeder is 8 lane, 50-meter indoor pool with non-turbulent lane lines and backstroke flags. Pool depth at starting end is a minimum of 7’. Block height is 29.5”. The Competition course has been certified in accordance with 104.2.2(C).

Timing: Colorado System with two backup buttons and one watch. Computerized scoreboard will be used for all lanes.

Bulkhead Use: The bulkhead may only be used by officials and counters during the meet. Swimmers and Coaches will not be allowed to cross the pool via the bulkheads during the meet.

Official Rules: Official current USA Swimming and Wisconsin LSC rules shall prevail for this meet. Swimmers must be registered USA swimmers with their age as of June 4, 2010. Coaches must also be USA registered and display their card while on deck.

Eligibility: All swimmers must be registered with USA Swimming and their USA-S numbers must appear on the entry information. Age as of Friday, June 4, 2010 will be used. Coaches must present a current coaching card before receiving packet!

Entry Limits: All swimmers may enter a total of three (3) individual events each day of the meet.

Deck Entries/Registration: Deck entries will be accepted at the discretion of the meet director, and must be accompanied by a payment of $5.00 per individual event.

Deck registration will be allowed if accompanied by a check for $58.00 payable to Wisconsin Swimming, Inc.

Final Results: Final results will be posted to the Wisconsin Swimming WEB site within two days of the meet conclusion. A meet backup, CL2 file, and PDF in results order will be posted. Hard copies may be requested and ordered at the admissions table for $7.00.

Entry Fees: $4.50 per individual event, $6.00 facility use fee per swimmer, plus $3 Splash Fee per swimmer.

Deadline: Reservation checks will be accepted for individual events. Entries, Recap of Entries and Waiver for the meet must be received by Wednesday May 19th, 2010 if submitted on paper, or Wednesday May 26th, 2010 if submitted on diskette or by email. Late entries will not be accepted. Please note, money used for reservations is not refundable and cannot be used to offset facility use fees, splash fees, or deck entry fees. Submit entries to:

Entry Forms: This meet is computerized. All entries must be submitted either on the enclosed entry form or on a Hytek Team Manager file via email or diskette. The sanctioned meet events can be downloaded from the Wisconsin Swimming website at: http://wisconsinswimming.org. The enclosed Recap of Entries Statement must be completed and the Waiver form signed. These must be returned together with the entry forms (diskette) and your check. Please submit the originals and save the copies for your records. In order to ensure accurate times and names, please PRINT clearly.

Awards: Each class, A, BB, BC will receive medals for placement 1-3 and ribbons for placement 4-6 for age groups 9-10, 11-12, 13-14. 8 and under swimmers will swim with 9-10 year olds, but will be awarded separately. 8 and under swimmers are awarded as one class. 8 and under will be awarded medals for placement 1-3 and ribbons for placement 4-12. 13-14 year olds will swim with Seniors, but will be awarded separately. Seniors will be awarded as one class for placement 1-3 medals will be received, for placement 4-6 ribbons will be received.

Admissions: Admission charge for spectators will be $4.00 for anyone 12 and over. Heat sheets will be available for $3.00 per session. Friday admissions will be $4.00 with a heat sheet included.

Parking: Limited parking will be located in the west parking lot. There will be additional parking available behind the Old Navy store which is just a short walk to the pool. WSAC is also offering parking spaces with a fee on the east side of the building.

Concessions: According to the Brown Deer Health department, no food or beverages may be brought into the Schroeder Aquatic Center by parents or spectators. This includes the cafeteria area. Athletes are allowed to bring refreshments (liquids) but NO GLASS is allowed. Our concession stand will feature a wide selection of food and beverages. We will also be providing a great selection of food on Friday night. Hot coffee and fresh bagels and donuts will be for sale upon morning arrival.

Conduct: Each team is responsible for the conduct of its swimmers and parents. Please note, there will be no oil rub downs allowed on deck. All on deck seating will be reserved for use by the athletes and coaches. No parents are allowed on deck or in any of the on-deck seating. Any person who, in the opinion of the Meet director, Meet Referee, or Meet Marshal, is harmful to others or to the property of others will be required to leave the competition venue. By order of the Brown Deer Fire Department, there will be no videotaping or picture taking allowed in any area of the stairwells or upper stair well landing areas. Anybody using these areas for videotaping or picture taking will be promptly removed from that area. Cell phones and other recording devices are not allowed in the locker room.

Hospitality: If available, there will be a hospitality room next to the secondary pool off the west entrance. All meals and refreshments will be provided to the coaches and officials.

Disabled Swimmer: Please notify the Meet Director as to any special needs for a disabled swimmer.

Times: FRIDAY: General warm-up 4:30-5:30 p.m. Meet starts at 5:30 p.m.

SATURDAY: General warm-up 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Meet starts at 9:00a.m. The afternoon warm-ups will start as soon as the morning session has been completed and will last 45 minutes.

SUNDAY: General warm-up 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Meet starts at 8:00 a.m. The afternoon warm-ups will start as soon as the morning session has been completed and will last 45 minutes.

Warm-ups: First half hour: Circle swimming in all lanes.

Second half hour: Lanes will be available for ONE WAY SPRINTS. Swimmers must exit from the opposite end of the pool. Starts from the blocks are permitted.

Seeding: The meet will be pre-seeded except for events which will require positive check-in. EVENTS 1 - 12 WILL BE LIMITED TO THE TOP 24 SEED TIMES. No swimmers submitted with a no time on Friday PM events will be allowed to swim unless all NT entries fit into the timeline. The host club reserves the right to fill open lanes and extend the number of allowable swimmers based on the timeline. The Psych sheet and timeline plan for these events (heats and allowable swimmers) will be posted on www.wisconsinswimming.org and www.kenoshabarracduas.com Tuesday prior to the meet start. The number of entries and time restrictions will determine limits. The events will be scheduled so that all swims will be done by approximately 9:00 p.m. If time permits, additional swims will be added. Refunds will be issued for swimmers who are not in the top 24 (or as per the posted # of heats scheduled to swim, if different) and who do not get to swim.
