A TREND Illustrator/Graphic Designer blends illustration and design disciplines to create concepts, detailed layouts and draw eye-catching, fun and child-friendly visual solutions for use in TREND products, packaging, and promotion initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide illustration and design solutions for a wide range of projects, including:

New Character Development, Products, Packaging, Catalogs, E-mail promotions, Web Pages, Sales/marketing support materials, Merchandising displays, Signage, Trade show exhibits, Social media

Create concepts, illustrations, and detailed layouts incorporating drawings, photography, characters, borders, font treatments, and other design elements to meet visual needs that:

Are engaging and eye-catching, Are highly appealing to children, Provide a unique, fresh design approach, Help explain and visualize a written concept or idea, Enhance a topic or theme and add visual interest, Are consistent with TREND design styling

Recommend style, technique, and medium to best meet project needs

Create rough sketches (thumbnails or storyboards) in traditional or digital formats based on verbal concepts as part of developing design solutions

Select font styles; possess ability to create custom hand-lettering

Actively collaborate with creative team colleagues in constructive exchanges that deliver in best-in-class results

Develop and grow knowledge of the TREND product line to identify new and innovative design opportunities

Requirements

Proven ability in illustration and graphic design, preferably experience in creating children’s educational products

Exceptional creative, imaginative, and drawing skills including the skill to develop cartoon-style characters that express personality, emotion, and fluidity; characters must look natural and believable, with a high degree of kid-appeal.

Dynamic portfolio of illustrations appealing to children, as well as graphic design projects including packaging, merchandising, ads, and catalogs

Ongoing knowledge of industry design trend and direction, especially as it relates to illustration for children’s products

Advanced layout and design skills including contemporary animation, character development, illustration style, color, and color balance.

Expert-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite 4 or higher: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Knowledge of and experience in printing processes

Excellent organization/prioritization skills for working effectively with tight deadlines; flexibility to work extended hours when needed

Excellent written/verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting and interacting with CEO and executive level management

Portfolio Manager /Credit Analyst

Riverland Bank, located in Jordan MN, has an immediate opening for an experienced Portfolio Manager/Credit Analyst. The ideal candidate should enjoy working in a team environment, have exceptional attention to detail, and have the ability to multi-task. This position is primarily responsible for underwriting commercial and consumer credit and teaming with lenders on credit administration and relationship management.

The position will report directly to the bank president and will be responsible for the management of a diverse portfolio of assets including performing loans, OREO, loan restructures, workouts and underwriting of new loans. The person will also be responsible for servicing delinquent loans through direct or indirect contact with customers.
This position requires a college degree and/or 2 – 5 years’ experience in, commercial credit/ analysis and lending, loan documentation and financial accounting. Knowledge of ARTA and ITI is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Conduct credit investigations and analyze financial statements to insure that loan presentations are precise and provides accurate information to make lending decisions.

Completes annual reviews on all required relationships including a complete analysis of annual financial statements, collateral evaluation, payment history, risk rating review and any adverse industry or economic changes.

Attends sales calls with Lenders as requested to act as a second contact for client.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the commercial and consumer loan departments.

Spread financial statements, prepare cash flow analysis, and write credit presentations.

Review appraisals, title work and flood certifications.

Perform collateral evaluations.

Assist lenders in preparing loan documentation.

Have complete understanding of our loan policy to insure that loans comply with our policy.

Analyze participation loan requests and monitoring these loans for compliance. Interact with participant banks.

Review borrower’s financial reporting for acceptability and loan compliance.

Administer SBA loan program and processes.

Manages the loan maturity report to ensure credits are renewed timely.

Coordinates the completion of Criticized Asset Reports and works with Lenders to complete reports for downgraded credits.

Provides back up to bank staff as requested.
