COMPETITOR INFORMATION AS FOLLOWS -

This is a Trailblazers “FIRST ROUND” EVENT. The first 4 competitors from each qualifying class will qualify for Inglewood EC Second Rounds on June 29th 2015. Successful competitors in the “Second Round” classes will qualify for the TRAILBLAZERS CHAMPIONSHIPS at Stoneleigh Park July 26th and 27th, 2015.

There is no Trailblazers rule on plaiting. Competitors may use their discretion as plait or not depending on whether it is appropriate for the Trailblazers class they are entering.

This Show is a qualifier for Equifest 2015 held at East of England Showground, Peterborough, 12 – 16th August 2015. The first TWO competitors in “Equifest” qualifiers who have a “Equifest” card will qualify. The Judge or Show secretary needs to sign the qualification card to qualify. “Equifest” qualification cards are available free of charge from www.equifest.co.uk

This show is a qualifier for the “15 plus” National Championship Show to be held at 2015 “Equifest” at East of England Showground at Peterborough on 17th August 2015. The first 3 placed horses or ponies aged 15 years or over in classes highlighted # will qualify for the National Championships. Further details www.15plus.org.uk

Riders of horses aged 15 yrs and over to provide & wear red armbands.

THIS SHOW IS OPEN TO ALL COMPETITORS.

NO MEMBERSHIP OFANY SOCIETY IS REQUIRED TO COMPETE.

RULES

All persons entering, competing or otherwise taking part in the above show shall be considered as having read and accepted the following regulations.

1. NO CHILD AGED UNDER 3 YEARS ON SHOW DAY MAY COMPETE

2. Numbers to be collected from the Secretary on the Show Day

3. Riding Hats to standard BSI PAS015 1998, EN13841996, ASTM F1163, SNELLE2001, AS/NZS3838 1998, 2003, SAI GLOBAL must be worn at all times with the chinstrap fastened when mounted

4. The Show organisers hold no responsibility for any accident occurring at this show. Horse Riding is a riskful sport, and you compete at your own risk.

5. “TRAILBLAZERS” competitions are for enthusiastic amateurs. Please enter this show in the spirit intended.

6. Horses must be four years old and over in all the ridden classes.

7. Horses/Ponies DO NOT REQUIRE a JMB Height certificate.

8. Any suitable bridles may be worn and handles on saddles in the Lead Rein are permitted.

9. Spurs can only be worn when riding a horse exceeding 148cms. No Spur Rowels allowed.

10. Spurs are not allowed in any Mountain & Moorland Classes.

11. Stallions/Colts MUST be handled by persons aged 16years and over AT ALL TIMES and must not be left unattended at any time.

12. Any fall of horse/pony/rider in the class will result in immediate disqualification and they must leave the ring without re-mounting.

13. Whips not to exceed 75cm (30”).

14. Riders age FOR trailblazers qualification as of the 1st day of the Trailblazers Championships – 26th July 2015.

15. The Judges decision is final.
