Directions: Decide on a topic for your project. Choose from the list below or find

your own idea.

Divide the work among the group members.

· A person who changed the world: Alfred Nobel (he invented dynamite)

· A US State /Canada / the UK

· A hobby: camel racing, chess, falconry, and soccer

· A city in the USA, the UK or Canada

· Famous criminals or gangsters: Bonnie and Clyde, The Mafia,

· A historical figure: Martin Luther King, Lady Diana, Malcom X, Tupac

· A famous building: the Empire State

· A Disaster: The Titanic, Chernobyl

· A Mystery: The Bermuda Triangle

· A famous place: Mount Everest

· Scientists Discoveries or Inventions: Einstein,

· Institutions e.g. the UN /the World Bank /the Red Crescent, CIA, FBI

· Environmental issues e.g. Air/Water/Land Pollution

· Space Travel: Moon landing, Mars, Satellites

· Famous Businesses and Companies

· Technology: mobiles /computers - A history of the computer

· Wall Street, E Commerce
