How Does the Raffle Work?

Parents and Kids,

One of the most popular and exciting annual fundraising events, the Teacher & Staff Raffle, is about to begin! This year, as in the past, our creative teachers and staff are offering a wonderful assortment of fun activities, events and prizes for you!

How does the Raffle Work?

The descriptions of the raffle items are listed in the Wednesday email under Teacher Staff Raffle. Each ticket or “chance” costs $1.00.

A sheet of raffle tickets are attached to this form. Copy them for more tickets or just use the ones provided—the sky is the limit! Simply fill out the tickets you wish to buy. Please print clearly and fill out completely (First and Last Name and Item Number). Cut your tickets apart and return them to school anytime before Friday April 15th, 2016. Please make checks payable to “ME PTO.”

Winners will be drawn and announced during the morning announcements every morning the week of April 18th, 2016.

Parents: Please be sure tickets are filled out completely (including first and last name and the appropriate item number) and they must be cut apart.

Can I win more than once?

YES! Several winners did last year!

Raffle Items

T1 Dessert at Graeter’s Mrs. Bobbitt

One (1) lucky winner and a friend will be treated to dessert at Graeter’s after school on a designated day before the end of the school year. Open to Mrs. Bobbitt’s Kindergarten.

T2 Afternoon Play Date Mrs. Short

One (1) lucky winner and a friend will choose a designated day before the end of the school year to have a play date. This will include a walk to the Bell Tower Park to play, a trip to Graeter’s, and a gift at the end of the playdate. This will be from 3:30-4:30 and a parent will need to pick the children up at the kindergarten playground. Open to Kindergarten girls only.

T3 Afternoon Play Date Mrs. Short

T4 Lunch at Mio’s Ms. Miller

One (1) lucky winner and a friend will join Ms. Miller on a designated day before the end of the school year to lunch at Mio’s. Open to Kindergarten only.

T5 Afternoon Play Date Mrs. Fields

We will meet after school on a designated day before the end of the school year to walk to Graeter’s, shop at the Villager and play at the park or back at school. Mom, Dad or babysitter can pick you up at 5:00pm. Open to ALL students.

T6 Dessert At Graeter’s Mrs. Westaway

Two (2) boys from her class, the first grade teachers, and other Graeter’s winners will be treated to ice cream after school in April. The date will be determined according to schedules after the winners are announced. Open to boys in Mrs. Westaway’s 1st grade class only.

T7 Dessert At Graeter’s Mrs. Kapcar

T14 Walking Field Trip at Avoca Park Second Grade Teachers

Twelve (12) second grade students will go on a walking field trip with the second grade teachers at Avoca Park. Parents will drop off and pick up at Avoca Park. Date to be determined. Open to 2nd grade only.

T15 Yoga Class with Second Grade Teachers Second Grade Teachers

Twelve (12) second grade students will participate in a yoga class with the second grade teachers. Mrs. Massie is a certified yoga instructor and will lead an hour long class. Date to be determined. Open to 2nd grade only.

T16 Picnic Lunch with Second Grade Teachers Second Grade Teachers

Twelve (12) second grade students will have a picnic lunch on the front lawn with the second grade teachers. Students will provide their own lunch. Date to be determined. Open to 2nd grade only.

T17 Dessert at Graeter’s Mrs. Erin Herking

Two (2) lucky winners will be treated to dessert at Graeter’s on a designated day before the end of the school year. Open to 3rd grade only.

T18 Dessert at Graeter’s Mrs. Geis

Two (2) lucky winners will be treated to dessert at Graeter’s on a designated day before the end of the school year. Open to 3rd grade only.

T19 Dessert at Graeter’s Ms. Rich

Two (2) lucky winners will be treated to dessert at Graeter’s on a designated day before the end of the school year. Open to 3rd grade only.

T20 Dessert at Graeter’s Mrs. Fiorina

Two (2) lucky winners will be treated to dessert at Graeter’s on a designated day before the end of the school year. Open to 3rd grade only.

T21 Lunch at Mio’s Mrs. Sexton

One (1) lucky winner may choose a friend to join the fourth grade teachers for a yummy lunch at Mio’s. The date will be determined according to schedules and weather after the winners are announced. Open to 4th grade only.

T30 Book & Ice Cream Party Mrs. Colaw, Mrs. Bruck

One (2) lucky winner and a friend are invited to meet Mrs. Colaw and Mrs. Bruck for a book party. After receiving a book as our gift to the winners, the winners and their friend will be going to a nearby restaurant or ice cream parlor for a treat. The date and location will be determined. A parent will need to drop off and pick up. Open to 5th grade only.

T31 Fun & Cuddly Stuffed Animals Mr. Miller

Two (2) lucky winners will get a soft and cuddly stuffed animal. Mr. Miller’s Grandmother made Mariemont Warrior clothes to fit each of them. They are absolutely adorable and completely unique. Open to ALL grades.

T32 Starbucks Mr. Prater

Two (2) lucky winners and their friend get to go to Starbucks with Mr. Prater after school one day. Open to 5th grade only.

T33 Duo – Scope Microscope Sixth Grade Teachers

One (1) lucky winner will receive a duo – scope microscope. The dual design brings a dissecting and compound scope together in one tool. Open to 5th and 6th grade only.

T34 Art Play Date Mrs. Komrska/Mrs. Hobart

Ten (10) lucky winners will have an opportunity to stay after school (date to be determined) to make giant crayons likes the ones that were made earlier in the year for the author visit. Each student will be able to choose the height and color of their crayon. Open to ALL grades.

T35 Chill with Mr. T Mr. Timmers

After a long day of learning, one (1) lucky winner and a friend can “chill” with Mr. T at Graeter’s. Open to any grade, Boys only.

T36 Chill with Mr. T Mr. Timmers

After a long day of learning, one (1) lucky winner and a friend can “chill” with Mr. T at Graeter’s. Open to any grade, Girls only.

T37 Lunch at Mio’s Mrs. Petru

Two (2) lucky winners and a friend of their choice will enjoy a lunch at Mio’s with Mrs. Petru on a designated day before the end of the school year. Open to ALL grades.

T38 Dessert at Graeter’s Mrs. Mott

One (1) lucky winner and a friend will enjoy a treat from Graeter’s on a designated day before the end of the school year with Mrs. Mott. Open to grades K - 1.

T39 Dessert at Graeter’s Mrs. Mott

One (1) lucky winner and a friend will enjoy a treat from Graeter’s on a designated day before the end of the school year with Mrs. Mott. Open to grades 2-4.

T40 Lunch at Mio’s Mr. Patterson

One (1) lucky winner and a friend will join Mr. Patterson for lunch at Mio’s before the end of the school year. Open to 5th and 6th grade only.

T41 Dessert at Graeter’s Mrs. Lehman

One (1) lucky winner and a friend will join Mrs. Lehman for a treat from Graeter’s on a designated day before the end of the school year. Open to 5th grade only.

T42 Lunch at Mio’s Mrs. McHugh

One (1) lucky winner and a friend will go to Mio’s with Mrs. McHugh. Date to be determined. Open to Kindergarten and 1st grade only.

T43 Dr. Seuss Book Bundle Mrs. Ecker

One (1) lucky winner will win a bundle of Dr. Seuss books (Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?, Fox in Socks, Green Eggs and Ham, What Pet Should I Get, and What Was I Scared Of?) along with some pencils, bookmarks, book bag, and small note pad. Open to ALL grades.

T44 Dessert at Graeter’s Ms. Drexelius

One (1) lucky winner and a friend will join Ms. Drexelius for a treat from Graeter’s on a designated day before the end of the school year. Open to ALL grades.

T45 Lunch at Mio’s Mrs. Croll

One (1) lucky winner and a friend will go to Mio’s at lunch followed by dessert at Graeters. Date to be determined. Open to ALL grades.

T46 Principal for Half a Day and Lunch at Mio’s Mrs. Simmons

This is it! Your BIG chance to be Principal! One (1) student will have the opportunity to shadow the principal, attend a special lunch and make important announcements during the day. You will also have your name placed on the front signboard announcing his/her tenure as principal. Date to be determined. Open to Grades 1–6 only.
