MIAMI BRIDGE YOUTH & FAMILY SERVICES, INC
The Director of Shelter Services -MSW for Residential Services Implements evaluates and manages program service delivery. Demonstrates cultural competency and sensitivity to all service populations, employees and stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1. Provides leadership to all direct care staff and student interns.
2. Responsible for the collection, maintenance and retention of internal reports, logs and inventories to ensure that quality assurance standards for all funding, licensing and accrediting entities are being met.
3. Coordinates and monitors work schedules for program services and staff. Process all PTO/Overtime and is responsible for approval of all direct care time sheets.
4. Oversees the expenditure and proper management of petty cash for shelter activities.
5. Develops and maintains relationships with other community organizations to facilitate delivery of comprehensive service delivery to youth and their families.
6. In conjunction with senior administrators, assists with the planning, designing, and implementation of new programing.
7. Conducts performance reviews of direct care staff.
8. Assists in coordination of staff development and training activities.
9. Provides supervision to program staff as it relates to implementing all aspects of client case management.
10. Responsible for the quality assurance of shelter services provided by all subordinate staff including student interns.
Full Time
Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field
Minimum of 3 years of Leadership experience
Computer experience required
Strong writing\and documentation skills required
