We invite applications for full-time faculty positions to start in Fall 2018 semester. Special consideration will be given to applicants that have background in one or more of the areas including Business Analytics, (Big) Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, Decision Analysis, Applied Statistics, Operations and Supply Chain Management with a strong emphasis and track-record on internationally-recognized research and excellence in teaching. Sabanci University is a privately funded academic institution, currently ranked # 44 in the Times Higher Education Young University Rankings list of the world’s top universities under 50 years of age. The instruction at Sabanci University started in 1999 at its newly built and state-of-the-art campus, located in suburban İstanbul. Our AACSB-accredited Sabanci School of Management offers BA in Management, MBA, Professional MBA, Executive MBA, Masters in Finance, Masters in Business Analytics and doctoral degree programs in Business Analytics and Operations Management, Finance, and Management and Organization. The Executive MBA program attracts senior professionals and executives for a 12-month education on campus, including a 2-week visit to Columbia Business School in New York. The Masters in Business Analytics program, initiated in 2016, is the first, and so far the only thesis based master program in Turkey on Business Analytics. The Masters in Finance (MiF) program is hosted at the Center for Applied Finance Education (CAFE), the Faculty’s state-of-the-art trading room/finance laboratory. The MBA program is very innovative in the Turkish context and almost 30% of the students are international. The students spend the last semester of their studies dealing with a Company Action Project (CAP), an intensive program that includes on-site project-driven practice at the partnering companies three days a week. In addition, Sabanci University’s Executive Development Unit (EDU) provides opportunities for the development of executive education courses and certificate programs targeted at the business community.
