ELIGIBILITY: A graduating senior of the Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools who best exemplifies good citizenship and high moral character, without regard to scholastic standing or parental finances.

AWARD: This scholarship will be awarded at Wilber every other year. 2011 will be awarded at Crete and 2012 will be awarded at Wilber and so on.

ELIGIBILITY: Two graduating seniors of the Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools pursuing postsecondary education in any field of study. Must meet the following criteria:
A. A student-employee or a child or dependent of a Farmland Foods Inc., employee.
B. A Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (B) or higher.
C. Attend any type of postsecondary school; two year or four year college/university or technical college.

NEBRASKA CZECHS OF WILBER SCHOLARSHIP
ELIGIBILITY: A graduating senior of the Wilber-Clatonia Public Schools who, during the past four years in high school has made significant contributions to the community in furthering Czech heritage. Ethnic background, class standing, and school activities are not a factor in this scholarship.
APPLICATION: Applicant is to submit a cover letter and resume, including class rank and GPA, to the high school counselor. Applications will be provided to the current president of the Nebraska Czechs of Wilber.
Contributions to furthering Czech heritage shall include the following areas of activities:
1. ART: Showing personal art work and/or helping with the art show; promoting Czech culture through the design of and/or wearing of costumes at functions designed to promote the heritage, etc.
2. DECORATIONS: Helping with displays that depict Czech culture, at home, in the downtown business area, building decorations, painting of fireplugs, posts, etc.
3. DANCING: Participation in folk dancing groups such as the Beseda group, promoting the polka, etc.
4. FLOAT: Helping with construction of, modification of, a Czech float, taking part as a rider on a Czech float, etc.
5. FOOD: Help with preparation, serving, or demonstrations of food at Czech activities or during Czech Days.
6. INFORMATION: Promoting Czech heritage functions, working in the information booth, or promoting the heritage at any other activity, etc.
7. MUSEUM: Participation in music groups that depict Czech culture, etc.
8. PAGEANT: Helping with or participating in the annual pageant.
