Ganga accepts Tridev's recommendation to go down and flow on Earth once again. Kartikeya and Shri Ganesh meet Dashanand. Shri Ganesh really likes the model made by Dashanand. Kartikeya invites Dashanand to come to Kailash to build the home. Mata Parvati shares news of building of their home on Kailash with sister Ganga. Now ahead....
Nandi: Mata! Look, Kumar Kartikeya is arriving.
Parvati: Son! seeing your face lit up with joy I can sense that you have brought some good news
Kartikeya: Ganesh will arrive soon, Ma with the model of our ideal home
Parvati: then you both were successful in your exercise
Kartikeya: yes mother! and do you know that great architect who has built the model of the ideal home is none other than father's devout devotee - Dashanand
Parvati: Dashanand! Swami! now I can sense your eagerness in the building of this home. If on that day you had not left me half way through my dressing up then this would not be possible today
Kartikeya: Ma, Ganesh has sent a message for you
Parvati: I know! I'll go and cook for him right away, come Didi
Dashanand: You could have gone to Kailash along with Kartikeya. I would have come to Kailash by myself too
Ganesh: it is not so easy to reach Kailash, Dashanand. I thought by walking along with me, some of your hardships will reduce
Dashanand: when I have already received Mahadev's calling then what difficulty could come along my way which I would not be able to handle by myself? If Ganesh can bear this extreme cold then why not me?
Ganesh: if you are facing a lot of hardship then should I make arrangements for shelter?
Dashanand: for a devout devotee this is nothing. I can face any kind of hardship to reach him and in my heart at this time all I long for is his presence. Even if my body is experiencing hardship, I am untouched by it
Ganesh: this model is also heavy. Come let me hold it
Dashanand: no Ganesh! this may be a model for you but for me this is my devotion, my sincerity. And sincerity and devotion are never a burden. In fact their are a path of liberation from hardship.Instead of this even if the entire home was there then I would be able to carry it and walk carefully, Ganesh. Lets go.
Mice: Mata! Mata! we have brought some good news, won't you offer us some sweet?
Parvati: the news is auspicious but before all of you Kartikeya has already given it to me
Mice: alright then!
Parvati: but everytime I hear this good news, I am equally delighted. I don't know why Ganesh has still not arrived with Dashanand. I am impatient to see my new home
Ganga: I am unable to fathom howMahadev has given his agreement for building a home on Kailash
Dashanand: what it means to be an esteemed devotee - you cannot visualize this Ganesh, and nor can you ever understand this. You are Mahadev's son, right. You attained Mahadev without any penance, any devotion. But I have attained Mahadev with my extreme penance, hardship and intense sacrifice.
Ganesh: it was not easy for me either. After my birth when I met him for the first time, I was unable to understand him because of my ego. That is why father chopped my head off and put this elephant head on me, that is how I was able to get rid of my ego.
Dashanand: this seems too easy to me, Ganesh
Ganesh: really! how so Dashanand?
Dashanand: you only had one head cut off and that too was cut by Mahadev. But I have cut nine of my heads and offered them to him, only then he gave me his darshan.
Ganesh: without a doubt you are father's most devout devotee and your architectural skills are unmatched
Dashanand: it is all a blessing from my Mahadev
Ganesh: alright! then tell me this Dashanand. Shoud a shivaling be made from mud or gold? Which would you choose between these two?
Dashanand: shivaling of mud can be made by any ordinary devotee. I will choose gold
Ganesh: careful Dashanand! balance yourself. This model of devotion and sacrifice almost fell down. I had told you Dashanand, the journey to Kailash is not an easy one and we have not even reached Kailash as yet. Come!
Mahadev: what curiosity has pulled and brought you to me, Ganga?
Ganga: the Kailash that I have known for eons how come it has become possible for building a home on that Kailash? Is my amazement inappropriate?
Mahadev: not at all
Ganga: Mahadev and renunciation were one
Mahadev: that is not untrue even today
Ganga: but renunciates do not have homes
Mahadev: a renunciate has no greed for a home either. Just how this entire world is mine but I have no endearment towards it. It is Parvati's desire to have a home and need for my family as well. For their desire I am having a home built on Kailash
Ganga: their is no end for desires. If the family wishes that you alter your form, then?
Mahadev: I have already done that, Ganga. For the welfare of this world, we Gods have taken on many different forms, then why not for family's wish too
Ganga: is it possible while fulfilling others wishes you change your root form itself?
Mahadev: what is my root form, Ganga? Who ever has whatever devotion and sincerity towards me, sees me in that form itself. I am Bholenath, Tripurari, Neelkanth, Vishwanath, Father, husband, Gangadhar - all these forms are my form and each changed form will be my form itself
Ganesh: What happened Dashanand, why did you stop suddenly?
Dashanand: I wish to apply the ash from these dead bodies on my body and become a yogi. Do you have any reservation to wait for me?
Ganesh: not at all, Dashanand. You take your time
Dashanand: by applying this ash now I have become a complete yogi. Ganesh! you are Mahadev's son a part of him; how come you do not apply ash?
Ganesh: to receive father's blessings no pomposity is necessary, Dashanand. We only need to have Mahadev reside in our thoughts, have a pure heart. And when the heart is pure then even practice takes on the form of devotion. And if the heart is impure then even devotion remains as a practice only
Dashanand: how can the nature of a devotee be different from God? I am Mahadev's esteemed devotee; if I do not know the meaning of devotion then who would?
Ganesh: this is Manasorovar, Dashanand and there is Kailash!
Dashanand: I am indebted to you Ganesh. Your blessings fell on me at the right time that you decided to bring me to Kailash
Ganesh: what is right time, Dashanand? everything happens with father's wish only. Come! everyone must be waiting for you on Kailash
Parvati: who is this whose voice is immersed in your devotion?
Kartikeya: this is Dashanand, Ma
