GOOGLE DOCS SURVEY INSTRUCTIONS

Creating the Google Form

1. Go to Google Docs. Make sure that both members of the group are part of the Google Doc.

2. Create New: Form

3. Your first question: What is your letter?

4. Choose the kind of question you want to ask next.

a. Multiple Choice: Choose one of the options.

b. Choose from a list: Shows some options and then a drop box

c. Checkboxes: Can choose more than one answer

5. Each time you add a question: Go to add item.

6. Go to file- add collaborator- give a title and save- under who has access click on change, then click on people at upper merion school district with the link- then invite your partner and me

7. Save, and email the survey to me.

Answering the Survey Questions

1. I will post links to each survey on my website.

2. Fill out each survey: Begin with your assigned letter

3. Submit: It will go back to the creator

Tabulating Results

1. Go to Form

a. Must have accepting responses checked

b. Show summary of responses to see charts/graphs

c. To see open-ended responses, go to choose response destination, edit, view responses
