Parents and students visit any of the twelve classrooms based on interest in the college or major*. Alumni will presentinformation about their major(s) and minor(s), related majors, core requirements of the major, graduation requirements, lifestyles and career goals.

6:00 – 6:30 Naviance Family Connection

1st Floor Computer Lab – 103D

WHS student volunteers assistparents with navigatingNaviance Family Connection, a website for WHS students, to search and apply for colleges and scholarships. Parents will leave this session not only with an account to access the web page but also lots of hands-on “how-to” experience.

6:30 – 7:00 College Admission Timeline

Library

Ms. Chen will talk about what should be done and when it should be done.

7:00 – 8:00 Insights of Journey

Library

Alumni Panel will share insights of post-secondary school experiences focusing on how to be ready for college and the application process, how they arrived at their final decision as well as how to succeed after high school.
