CLIENT SERVICE MANAGER

Objectives of the position: The Client Service Manager is responsible for assisting the Executive Director in day-to-day operation of the Pregnancy Resource Center. This includes management of volunteers and the implementation of necessary programs to meet client needs.

Reports to: The Executive Director

Supervises: Volunteer staff

Qualifications:

1. Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord

2. Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity

3. Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith, and policies of the center

4. Have one year of experience as a volunteer in some ministry capacity

6. Exhibit skill in interpersonal communication and problem solving

8. Be able to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, and support to the volunteers

9. Be able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision

Major Responsibilities

Administrative

1. To make prayer an integral part of the day-to-day operation of the center.

2. Review client files, peer counselor summaries, and offer suggestions and encouragement to volunteers.

3. Oversee record-keeping and effective follow-up of clients by volunteers.

4. Oversee scheduling of all volunteers

5. Handle routine business calls that don’t require executive director assistance.

6. Interact with executive director to relate client or staff needs, progress of the center, problems, and goal setting and implementation.

7. Assist the executive director with performing office administration duties, as requested.

Client Services

1. Oversee peer counseling and all other services provided for clients.

2. Provide peer counseling and services for clients when volunteers are not available.

3. Maintain and update the referral resources for volunteers and client use.

4. Develop and oversee client support services offered by the ministry.

5. Oversee special classes and be in contact with clients about event dates.

Training

1. Assist in conducting “Serving with Care and Integrity” volunteer seminars.

2. Assist in recruiting, selecting and interviewing possible volunteers for ministry.

Supervision/Evaluation

1. Assess and evaluate volunteer performance and facilitate yearly evaluations of volunteers.

2. Availability to volunteers for information, questions and assistance.

3. Assess ongoing performance of volunteers and follow biblical principles for confrontation when the need arises.

The Client Service Manager shall receive a yearly written and oral evaluation by the Executive Director.
