OBJECTIVE: This practical exercise is designed to evaluate your ability to process a meal card.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
AR 600-8-38, The Meal Card Management System
Pencil or pen
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. This booklet contains eight questions and two forms that must be completed. You must attain a passing score of 70%. You will have 50 minutes to complete this practical exercise. Count and check each question now. If you are missing a question or a portion of it is illegible, obtain a new practical exercise booklet from your instructor.
2. Each question has only one correct answer. Make all responses clear and legible on an answer key and print the DD Forms 714. Read each question carefully but move on so that you may answer all questions in the time allotted.
3. ALL WORK ON THIS PRACTICAL EXERCISE MUST BE YOUR OWN. You may NOT communicate with other students, give or receive assistance, or pass on information about this exercise to other students. Failure to follow these instructions will result in the appropriate disciplinary action.
4. Upon completion of this exercise turn in your answers to your instructor. You will receive further instructions at that time.

PFC Scott came into the BN S1 on 10 January 2014 and informed the Human Resources Specialist that she lost her meal card. Is the Meal Card Control Register completed correctly?

PV2 Davis meal card was stolen on 23 December 2012. He was issued a replacement meal card the same day. SPC Davis PCS’d from the unit on 20 June 2014. Is the Meal Card Control Register completed correctly?

The last meal card issued was KA123456 and the authorizing official is SFC John T. Smith. He is the Personnel SGT for MI CO, 1-4 BCT. Once you have completed the meal card, print and turn in with answer key to your Instructor. NOTE: Blank DD Form 714 can be found in Student Handout. Have students enter their rank and name in the Authorizing Official Signature Block.
