Activities During Year:
New Members:
Current members of Delta Omega on the faculty of the School of Public Health and Information Sciences met in March to elect new members. Three student, two alumni, one faculty member, and one honorary inductee were selected for induction. The new inductees were recognized at the SPHIS graduation ceremonies in May 2009.
Delta Omega Lecturer
A process has been put in place to initiate a Delta Omega Lecture. This will be combined with other activities and will be initiated in the Fall of 2009.
Chapter Dues
The Beta Pi chapter currently does not have a designated budget. A proposal has been put to have Chapter dues using a “tier” dues system. This will be discussed at the July Delta Omega meeting.
Election of Officers
New chapter officers will be elected at the July meeting.
