CASPA Software
Action Required: / YesAudience: / All Schools
Date Issued: / 10 July 2013
Contact: / School Improvement Data Team,
Each year, those schools that use CASPA, are asked to submit anonymised data to SGA systems (the company that produces the software) so that results for all pupils can be included in the benchmarking information for next year.
It is an important yet simple task and I would ask that all schools that make use of CASPA following the attached instructions to submit the information - if you have any problems then please contact the Data Team on 01977 721538.
It would also be helpful if you could send an email to letting us know you are using CASPA so we can update our records.

On 17 June 2013 the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) changed the way they issue disclosure certificates by launching the ‘single certificate’. This means that the employer will no longer receive a disclosure certificate as the DBS will now only produce one that will be sent direct to the applicant.
Please note the attached guidance and flow chart for Authorised Officers where Employment Services process your DBS checks
