Homework 10 (U2 Wk4)

Each day’s homework is to be completed on a single sheet of notebook paper with math first and then spelling. It is to be turned in daily. Parents, please go over the homework with your child and sign the notebook paper. The spelling words for the week are listed under Monday’s homework. These are the words that will be tested at the end of the week.

Monday’s Homework

Math: Write the number sentence to solve the following problems. Don’t just write the answer; show how you got your answer.

A. Sharon ate 8 peanuts. Zahra ate B. Aaron grew 16 pumpkins. Phillip

7 peanuts. How many peanuts did grew 9 pumpkins. How many more

they eat in all? pumpkins did Aaron grow than Phillip?

Spelling: (Plurals -s, -es, -ies) Write each word three times.

Tuesday’s Homework

Math: Copy the problems and write the answers.
