A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Dequavius "Qua" Weaver.
WHEREAS, Dequavius Weaver was born on March 20, 1997, the cherished son of Lawrence Paige and Patricia Weaver; and
WHEREAS, Dequavius Weaver was a student at Christian County High School, where he was a member of the football team; and
WHEREAS, Dequavius Weaver was a member of Second Baptist Church; and
WHEREAS, Dequavius "Qua" Weaver, a 17-year-old native of Christian County and a precious child of God, entered into eternal rest on March 21, 2014. His loss is duly mourned by his family, friends, and all those who were so lucky to be touched by his remarkable presence; and
WHEREAS, Dequavius Weaver is survived by his parents; his maternal grandparents, Pearline and Thomas E. Weaver; his paternal grandmother, Vernell Paige; and his sisters, Tasha and Zachiria Weaver;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:
âSection 1. The members of the Senate hereby express their most profound and sincere condolences upon the passing of Dequavius "Qua" Weaver, and extend their heartfelt sympathy to his family in this time of loss.
âSection 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in honor and loving memory of Dequavius "Qua" Weaver.
âSection 3. The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Senator Whitney Westerfield for delivery.
