INVITATION FOR THE SUBMISSION OF QUOTATIONS FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF LEARNERS BY BUS TO AND FROM VARIOUS POINTS WITHIN THE GAUTENG

The Sci-Bono Discovery Centre is an independent Section 21 company set up by the Gauteng Department of Education. It is a flagship science centre located in Newtown, Johannesburg. Sci-Bono’s goal is to promote interest in and enjoyment of all aspects of mathematics, science and technology by offering learners, educators and the general public the opportunity to engage with its collection of hands on exhibits and displays, and to participate in a wide variety of educational activities and programmes. Sci-Bono works closely with, and on behalf of, the Gauteng Department of Education to enhance curriculum delivery in schools.

QUOTATIONS REQUESTED

Sci-Bono Discovery centre is therefore calling for submission of quotations for the transportation of learners To and From various pick points within the Gauteng Province. We are seeking rates for the following categories, each restricted to a particular range:

A: 7 – 9 SEATERS

B: 15 - 18 SEATER

C: 35 SEATER

D: 60 - 65 SEATER

E: 90 - 100 SEATER

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION

The following documentation must be submitted with the quotation. Failure to do so will result in a disqualification:

2.1 Completed Quotation Form (please use the table above)

2.2 Certificate of Incorporation from Registration of companies (CIPRO)

2.3 SARS Tax Clearance Certificate

2.4 Proof for Road worthy Certificate

2.5 Vehicle Registration certificate

2.6 Valid correct Licenses for Drivers

2.7 Proof of Professional drivers permit

BID PROCESS

Additional information can be obtained online ( or from the Procurement Desk at Sci-Bono Discovery Centre, Cnr President and Miriam Makeba Streets, Johannesburg. Applications with incomplete forms and or supporting documentation will not be considered. Hard copies of submissions must be accompanied by digital versions.

SUBMISSIONS

Completed Quotation Forms can be deposited in the Tender Box at Sci-Bono Discovery Centre and must be clearly marked:

CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF QUOTATION FORMS IS 22 MAY 2015 @ 12:00pm

Late submissions will not be considered.
