STUDENT PROGRESS

Progress reports will be sent out at the midway point of the marking period to all students. Interim week is marked on the school calendar. Please ask to see your son’s/daughter’s interim report during this time, and sign off on this and return it to his/her homeroom teacher. You may also request an interim report anytime throughout the semester by contacting either your student’s counselor or me directly.

If you wish to contact me, please feel free to e-mail me at the above e-mail address (this is preferred to avoid “phone tag”) or call me at the school number.

LATE WORK

Late work will be accepted provided it is turned in within one week after the due date. Any work that is turned in late will receive half the credit it would have otherwise received. There are extenuating circumstances which may arise that would call for an exception to this policy. Should such circumstances come about, please let me know as soon as possible so that the appropriate accommodations can be made.

CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS

1. Be prepared.

2. Be polite and respectful to others.

3. Gum, food, or drink of any kind is prohibited in the lab.

4. The Internet should only be used in a manner directly related to that day's lesson. Inappropriate use of the Internet will result in a detention or Saturday school and/or loss of Internet privileges, which will impact the student’s ability to complete certain assignments in the classroom.

5. Attend class daily, on time. One unexcused late will be allowed. After this the student will be issued a detention or office referral.

6. Disruptive behavior may result in an assigned morning detention or office referral.
