Instructions

1.  All students purchase the supplies listed under General Supplies

2.  Supplies are needed for the first day of school

3.  Purchase the remaining supplies as per your child’s schedule.

4.  Use the check-off system to keep track of the items that you have purchased.

General Supplies:

q  1 Heavy Duty Binder (3 inch binder with a “D” or “slant” ring)
q  Daily Agenda Planner (available in school office)
q  Student Library Card for White Plains Public Library
q  4G flash drive – storage device only!
q  1 dozen pens (blue or black ink only)
q  4 dozen pencils (to be kept in school)
q  1 box of a dozen colored pencils
q  Highlighters
q  1 large pencil zipper pouch to go inside the binder
q  4 packages of wide-ruled reinforced loose-leaf paper
q  2 boxes of reinforcements for hole-punched paper
q  4 double sided pocket folders
q  3 packages of reinforced heavy duty 8- tab dividers
q  3 boxes of tissues
q  4 packages of 3”x 5” index cards-lined on one side and blank on the other
q  Post-its, size: 3” x 3”, at least 8 pads – NOT “Super Sticky”
q  Post-its, size: 1” x 2”, at least 8 pads – NOT “Super Sticky”
q  One composition marble notebooks - to be left in the ELA classroom
q  2 one inch soft plastic binder-to be left in the Social Studies and Science classrooms
q  1 TI 30X IIS Scientific Calculator (for Math and Science)
q  1 metric ruler (with inches too!) with holes (for Math and Science)
q  English Translation Dictionary – ESOL students only

q  Brass players need valve/slide oil and slide grease
q  Woodwind players need cork grease and one box of reeds
q  Percussionists need drum sticks and practice pad
q  One double pocket folder – for “take home” music, worksheets and practice charts
q  Students will need a white top and black pants for performances

q  All players need rosin and an extra set of strings
q  Violin and Viola players also need a proper shoulder pad
