4- AND 5-PERSON APARTMENT APPLICATION, 2017-2018

(Juniors and Seniors Only)

Before submitting this application, please be sure that you have completed the online housing registration process. Apartment applications will not be accepted until everyone has submitted that agreement. All members of your group must complete that process by March 8, 2017 to receive a better lottery number.

YOU MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION FOR EACH TYPE OF APARTMENT IN WHICH YOU ARE INTERESTED. YOU CANNOT APPLY FOR MORE THAN ONE APARTMENT OF THE SAME TYPE.

Apartment applications will not be accepted unless signed by each member of the apartment or their proxy. By signing this application, each member is agreeing that, if their group is able to select an apartment, they:

·  May not be released from their housing agreement

·  May not go through any other room selection process

·  May not apply to move off campus

·  Agree to abide by all the Pathfinder policies and recognize that sanctions may be stricter in the apartments, as they are a more independent living environment

·  Recognize that if there are conduct problems within the apartment that are not resolved by the students, the student(s) found responsible may be relocated by Housing and Conferences

·  Acknowledge that Housing and Conferences staff will review the conduct records of all apartment applicants. If 50% or more of the applicants in a group have significant conduct history (College housing restriction or greater sanctions) or have been involved in multiple incidents together, the group application will be ineligible, and all members of the group will be notified of this by email no later than April 3rd.

·  Realize that class standing is only considered for the students who will be occupying the apartment during the fall semester. The class standing of students who are away from campus for first semester and are taking the place of students leaving in the spring is not a factor in the determination of lottery numbers, except that Spring 2018 residents must have second-semester Junior standing (at minimum 20 credits) in Block 5.

·  If the residents change from Fall to Spring, the Fall resident(s) must vacate the apartment by the end of Block 4/December 21, 2017.

If it appears that any student noted on this application may have intentionally manipulated the apartment selection process through deceit or dishonesty, that student will be referred to the student conduct system, which can result in sanctions such as the entire group forfeiting the apartment. By signing below, all members are knowingly applying for this apartment in accordance with these terms.
