Sub : Permission to send duty free materials out of the zone for sub – contracting purposes by M/s. Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., SEZ to M/s. Micro Engineering works, Chennai - Reg.

M/s. Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, (TCS) have been notified as a SEZ developer vide approval No. F.2/108/2005-EPZ; Dated 05.04.2006.

M/s. Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., have now requested our approval for sending the duty free material outside the SEZ for sub-contracting purposes, vide their letter no. Nil PD/Siruseri/478/2010, dt.02.06.10. The duty free material “Stainless Steel Sheet materials” (as per annexure-1) would be sent to their sub-contractor M/s. Micro works located at No. 17-B, Walltax Road, Kondithope, Chennai – 600 079, for fabrication purposes.

The wastage norms specified by the job worker is 5% for scrap.

M/s. Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, (TCS) have been notified as a SEZ developer vide approval No. F.2/108/2005-EPZ; Dated 05.04.2006.

M/s. Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., have now requested our approval for sending the duty free material outside the SEZ for sub-contracting purposes, vide their letter no. Nil PD/Siruseri/482/2010, dt.04.06.10. The duty free material “Light Fitting Materials – 2 x 28w FTL Light fixture- Item code: GW80102 – 1725 nos” would be sent to their sub-contractor M/s. Micron Electricals located at M/s. C&S Electric Ltd., No. 222, Okhla Industrial Estate, Phase III, New Delhi – 110 020, for assembling and finishing with electrification accessories purposes.

There is no wastage norms specified by the job worker for scrap.

Sub: Information to All UAC members

M/s. Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., a SEZ Unit located at TCSL Siruseri SEZ has intimated vide their letter no. nil dated: 20.05.2010, to transfer used capital goods from M/s. Tata consultancy Services Ltd., STP unit located at Sholinganallur, Chennai to their SEZ unit located at TCSL, Siruseri SEZ, SIPCOT IT Park, Navalur (STP to SEZ transfer) on permanent basis.

The unit has invested about Rs. 14794.03 lakhs of new assets in M/s. Tata Consultancy Services. Ltd., SEZ unit. The unit has already transferred CG worth Rs. 298.10 lakhs. Now, they propose to transfer CG worth Rs. 5.65 lakhs (depreciated Value), which is less that 20 % (Rs. 2958.81 lakhs) of their total investment.

The above transfer of capital goods is as per the instruction no. B-11/3/2008-SEZ dated 12th Aug 2009.

Now, they propose to transfer CG worth Rs. 2.03 lakhs (depreciated Value), which is less that 20 % (Rs. 2958.88 lakhs) of their total investment.

The above transfer of capital goods is as per the instruction no. B-11/3/2008-SEZ dated 12th Aug 2009.
