Cost Requirements

Cost

The Pantherettes do not receive any school funding so we are dependent on fundraising to offset an individual expenses. Dance Team hosts one fundraiser each year. Dance Team members are also afforded the opportunity to sell ads in the Media Guide by the HHS Football program. Any commission earned shall be reimbursed to the member after we receive payment from the Football program.

The approximate out-of-pocket expense to be a member of the squad is broken down as follows:

Camp and bus - $500

Camp clothes / new pieces (all dancers) - $ 125

Performance pieces (new dancers) - $ 275

Annual rental fee for performance tops owned by the team - $25

New members generally have an opportunity to purchase used uniform pieces, at a reduced cost, based on size and availability. Returning members will have lower uniform cost based on which current uniform pieces that we use again this season. Fundraising opportunities could reduce the cost to each member.

One Half of the money will be due at the FIRST PARENTS MEETING in May. Parents should be prepared to pay directly for select uniform pieces that they may be purchasing as used from graduating Dance Team members.

Any monies earned from fundraising activities will be reimbursed following the fundraiser.

I have read and agree to all of the policies concerning team rules and costs requirements are outlined on pages 3 and 4.
