Letot Center for Girls
The mission of Dallas County Juvenile Department’s Letot Center is to assist referred youth in becoming productive, law-abiding citizens, while promoting public safety and victim restoration. Funds will be used for the new Gardening and Horticultural Center and Therapy Program.
Notre Dame School
Notre Dame School educates students with intellectual disabilities and facilitates their integration into society. Funds will be used for ten Apple MacAir computers and a mobile computer cart, also, salary support for Linda Rush, nationally recognized expert on the use of technology for students with mental disabilities.
Rainbow Days
Rainbow Days’ mission is to inspire and prepare children to live a life filled with promise. Requested funds would be used to provide overall support of Rainbow Days’ Kids’ University camp, including supplies, classroom instructors, trained staff, transportation, facility rental, snacks, meals, etc.
ScholarShot, Inc.
ScholarShot seeks to end the pattern of failure among at-risk students who are provided access to college through well meaning programs. Funds will provide a $2,500 scholarship to a community college for eightScholarShot students.
The Warren Center
The Warren Center assures that children with developmental differences or disabilities, and their families, receive the resources and support they need to reach their full potential. Funds will be used for the Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program, specifically for Specialized Skills Training (SST) sessions.
Wilkinson Center
The mission of Wilkinson Center is to transform the lives of Dallas families by providing pathways to self-sufficiency with dignity and respect. Funds will be used to cover the expense of the new GED testing which began this year to 148 people.
Youth Village Resources of Dallas
YVR’s mission is to meet the needs of the incarcerated youth by providing them with the vocational employment and life skills training they need to reach their full potential. Funds will be used for the YVR Nutritional and Culinary Arts Program.
Kappa Kappa Gamma
Proceeds will be used to enhance the lives of Kappa women and their communities, by providing funds for educational programs, scholarships, financial aid and the preservation of Kappa heritage within the context of women’s history through our national foundation.
