Dear YMCA Supporter,
The YMCA of Northeast Louisiana is preparing forour 2014 Youth Sports Football Season with early registration beginning June 1, 2014! Each year over 1,000 youth ages 4 -12 participate inthe YMCA Youth Sports Football League, creating a positive environment for players, parents, families and volunteers. The primary goal of the football program is to teach fundamental football skills while reinforcing the YMCA CORE VALUES of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
We arecurrently looking for financial sponsors for 30 teams (300 youth)
by August 15, 2014 that could not otherwise afford to participate. These youth are “the least of them.” The ones with the least positive exposure and resources yet need our YMCA programs the most. These 30 teams (300 youth) will greatly benefit from the discipline, structure, sportsmanship, friendship and positive volunteer coach role models being a part of the YMCA Youth Sports Program will expose them to.
As a scholarship sponsor, you receive:
· Your business or family name on your team sponsored jerseys (if applicable)
· Mention in all 2014 YMCA newsletters, advertising, social media, website and signage at games
· A framed team photograph of the team(s), or personal thank you note from the youth you sponsored
· Recognition at the playoff games and/or awards ceremony (if applicable)
· Most importantly you’ll receive a full heart, knowing that because of your generosity, 300 youth that could not afford football registration fees or equipment will have an opportunity to be equal with their peers…even if for just one football season.
One hundred percent of your sponsorship dollars will be awarded as scholarships for registration fees and/or football equipment for those who demonstrate a financial hardship. Your support enables us to promote and sustain OUR MISSION: To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body FOR ALL.
