The meeting was called to order at 16.00 hours on 14thNovember.

16thAnnual Congress meeting minutes: has been circulated and posted on the web site were approved.

President’s Report:Lance Karebel read an email from WPF President David Carter giving his apology from not being able to attend the 2015 World Meet and also raising gaining new lifters, increasing WPF membership numbers and the amount of Nations that affiliate with the WPF.

The report was approved.

National Affiliates Reports:

GBR–Dean Druryreported continual growth in its membership, over 100 lifter entries at its Nationals, over 50 entries at the 2015 Europeans.

USA–Lance Karebelreported they had held a very successful National championships and took on board in the eleventh hour to host the 2015 Worlds.

• Treasurer: Tabled.

• Finance Officer: Tabled.

Policy Resolutions: None

Rules for LiftingResolutions:

RECORDS - That, all World records can only be broken at the World Championships. That, all European records can only be broken at European and World Championships. That, all National records can only be broken at National, European and World Championships.

Bids to host Future World Championship Presentations

2016 World Championships – 19th & 20th November, Aldershot, England - agreed

2017 World Championships – Chicago, USA - agreed

2018 World Championships – Nigeriabid

2019 World Championships – No Bids

2020 World Championships – No Bids

Nigeria has put in a bid to host the 2018 World's. It was decided that this bid will be tabled for a year to see how much participation the Nigerians put forth.

Contingent plan, proposed Great Britain as a back-up in 2018, agreed.

USA are going to look into travel package deals through travel agencies to get more U.S. lifters to more European meets.

GBR indicated there was interest from Columbia about joining the WPF.
