Applications are welcomed from all Victorian museums – which include museums of science, history and art, historical societies, libraries, galleries, zoological and botanical gardens, keeping places and other organisations that acquire, conserve, and communicate material evidence of people and their environment.
The application process for funding is highly competitive and there is no guarantee of success. Previous support does not commit Museums Australia (Victoria) to further funding of that applicant activity.
What is accepted? Applications are accepted from exhibition projects comprised of more then 50% historical content, drawn from museum collections.
What is not accepted? Applications are not accepted for exhibitions of contemporary art (funding assistance for this is offered through NETS Victoria).
Applications are not accepted from individuals.
