COMMENTS: Chukotka moose is the largest moose in the world. It populates vast territory of Southern Chukotka, Northern Kamchatka, Northern Magadan and eastern Yakutia southern. This hunt is conducted in heavy brush and timber and demands walking up to 10 miles each day. In certain areas hunters can hunt along the river banks and move in a motor boat. The smallest trophy should be expected to have a spread of around 150cm (60 inches). Some trophies can be in the range of 170 cm (70 inches) and more. The hunter may spend a few nights away from the base camp. The success rate on this hunt is 90 to 95%. Temperatures can range from +15 to -15° C (+60 to +5° F). We recommend packing a light sleeping bag, rubber boots and waterproof clothes

COMMENTS: European moose is not the largest moose in Russia, however, good trophies, similar to Canada moose can be taken in some areas. The temperature can range from 0 to –20° C. We recommend bringing water proof tall winter boots, warm gloves, warm winter clothes in November and December. Hunting bear can be offered only during bugling season, which ends around October 5 and requires at least three additional days.

COMMENTS: This hunt is offered in a sparsely populated game reach area only 220 miles (350 km) South of St. Petersburg. Each drive is expected to have several moose and boar in each drive. Bears, wolves foxes and lynx can also be encountered. The temperature can range from +15 to –20° C. We recommend bringing water proof tall winter boots, warm gloves, warm winter clothes in November and December. Bears can be taken only early in season before hibernation

COMMENTS: Northern part of Magadan region has very high concentration of sheep, found at elevations of 300 to 1000 m. (1000 - 3000 ft.). On a good day hunter can spot up to 30 rams. COMMENTS: Koryak snow sheep is the rarest and the largest subspecies of snow sheep. Hunt takes place at elevations of up to 2000 m. (6600 ft.). The hunt is conducted on foot. Because of difficult terrain with rocks and heavy underbrush, it can be physically demanding. Kamchatka sheep is nearly as large as Koryak. It has a few subtle differences, which is enough for some biologist to consider it a different subspecies. Weather in Northern Kamchatka, especially at the end of September can get harsh. Hunters must bring warm, waterproof clothes, waterproof mountain boots and sleeping bag.

COMMENTS: Kyrgyzstan argali is in average smaller than Tajikistan. However, trophies in excess of 50 inches and up to 60 are not unusual. Hunting takes place at altitudes of 3,000 - 4,000 meters (9,500 - 12,500 ft.) and requires good physical endurance. Hunters should expect to spend up to 6-8 hours per day riding horses. A car ride from Bishkek to the hunting area takes about 12 hours, but it is possible to charter a helicopter instead for an additional cost. Daytime temperature is around +10C (+50F) in the fall and –20C (-4F) in the winter, at night it can drop to -40C (-40F). Hunters are required to bring sleeping bags, sunglasses and a sunscreen. Shots are expected within 250-400 yards range, therefore flat shooting rifle with good optics and a range finder are necessary.

COMMENTS: Mid-Asian ibex is the largest in the world. It can be found in several Central Asian republics; however, Kyrgyzstan has much higher number of the animals and the best trophies. The hunt takes place on altitudes 3500-4500 meters (11000-14000 ft.). Horses are extensively used for transportation during the hunt. Accommodations are in yurts, or cabins. The chance of getting a trophy over 115 cm (46”) is nearly 70%. Many trophies are in excess of 50 inches.

COMMENTS: Khakassia and Altai are mountainous parts of Southern Siberia, located close to the borders with Mongolia and Kazakhstan. This remote and rarely hunted land offers wide range of game and exciting hunting opportunities.The hunt is conducted by stalking. The best time is the bugling season, from August 25 to September 20. The weather is usually mild. Hunters often have a possibility to take more than one trophy. Maral stag, musk deer, and bear can be hunted with additional 4 days. Wolves and lynx can be taken as trophies of opportunity.
