Communication of 6.IX.2006:

The Autorité de Régulation Multisectorielle (ARM), Niamey, announces that the current six-digit (6digit) National Numbering Plan (NNP) of Niger will be changed over to a new eight-digit (8digit) numbering plan, effective 30June2006 at midnight, local time.

Structure of the Numbering Plan

The new National Numbering Plan (NNP) of Niger is structured as eight(8) digits, in the following form: ABPQMCDU
