2007 JACK WEBSTER AWARDS ANNOUNCED
Twelve Webster Awards were presented tonight at the 21st annual Jack Webster Awards in Vancouver. As well, Kamloops’ CHNL Radio News Director Jim Harrison was honoured with the Bruce Hutchison Lifetime Achievement Award.
Neil Soper, co-chair of the Jack Webster Foundation, also announced that the Foundation’s Award for Best News Reporting of the Year will be renamed in honour of Keith Bradbury who passed away earlier this year. Bradbury was a pioneering news director with BCTV, now Global BC, and received the foundation’s Bruce Hutchison Lifetime Achievement Award in 1999.
