A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROVE REGULATIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, LICENSING AND REGULATION, MANUFACTURED HOUSING BOARD, RELATING TO DEFINITIONS, LICENSE, FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, RETAIL DEALER, INSTALLERS, TRAINING, EXAMINATIONS, COMPLAINTS AND HEARINGS, MANUFACTURED HOME INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS, DESIGNATED AS REGULATION DOCUMENT NUMBER 2890, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 23, TITLE 1 OF THE 1976 CODE.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The regulations of the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, Manufactured Housing Board, relating to Definitions, License, Financial Responsibility, Retail Dealer, Installers, Training, Examinations, Complaints and Hearings, Manufactured Home Installation Requirements, designated as Regulation Document Number 2890, and submitted to the General Assembly pursuant to the provisions of Article 1, Chapter 23, Title 1 of the 1976 Code, are approved.

SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

SUMMARY AS SUBMITTED

BY PROMULGATING AGENCY.

The South Carolina Manufactured Housing Board is repealing Regulations 19425.1 through 19.425.44 and promulgating new regulations to be recodified as Chapter 79, Regulations 791 through 7944. The amendments are to conform to the 2001 Act 61 Manufactured Housing Practice Act update.
