2000 LITRE DIESEL REFUELING TRUCK
Specification Requirements / Details of offer1. A diesel refueling truck based on a 7500kg GVM truck chassis.
2. The truck engine must develop not less than 90kW.
3. A diesel tank with a minimum capacity of 2000 litres and that complies fully with specification SANS 1518.
4. The tank breather is to be fitted with a suitable air filter.
5. Complete signage in terms of SANS 1518 including document holder.
6. Fire extinguishers in terms of SANS 1518.
7. Full compliance with the Road Traffic Act and Regulations.
8. A lockable battery box.
9. Wheel spanner and 5 ton hydraulic jack.
10. A fuel dispensing pump that can deliver 50 l/min is required. The fuel pump is to be driven hydraulically from a PTO mounted hydraulic pump.
11. An on-off hydraulic control valve to operate the fuel dispensing pump is to be mounted in the cab within easy reach of the driver.
12. A heavy duty hose reel 5m long complete with swivel and controllable dispensing nozzle.
13. A lockable flow meter.
14. A suitable holding device for the hose and nozzle.
15. A shut off valve is to be fitted immediately at the tank outlet.
16. An in line water trap and a separate 2 micron spin on type fuel filter (UDF or similar) are to be fitted after the shut off valve and before the dispensing pump. These filters must be capable of handling the full pump flow rate. / Water trap:

17. The fuel dispensing equipment items 10, 12 to 14 and 16 above are to be housed in a secure, lockable, robust, dust proof compartment.
18. The complete truck is to be painted golden yellow (B49) unless otherwise specified.
Optional extra 1. Compressor
19. A 250l/min 2 stage air cooled air compressor complete with intercooler and air cooled after cooler.
20. Its output is to be 250l/min free air at 700kPa.
21. 100l compressed air receiver.
22. 1000kPa minimum working pressure.
23. The compressor is to be hydraulically driven by the PTO mounted pump as per item 10 above.
24. A separate on-off hydraulic control valve to operate the compressor is to be mounted in the cab adjacent to that for the fuel pump (item 11 above).
25. An automatic pressure regulator adjustable for working pressures from 700kPa to 1000kPa.

28. A drain valve for the air receiver.
29. A 25mm receiver header stop valve.

32. Unloading valve for starting.
33. Adequate guards over belts and pulleys.
34. The air supply must be connected to an in line tyre inflator for inflating and deflating tyres up to 10 bar pressure.
35. A heavy duty air hose reel with 9m hose complete with quick coupler and ball stop.
36. The compressor and equipment are to be mounted in a secure, lockable, robust compartment which may be combined with item 17 above.
Optional extra 2. Oils compartment
37. A strong lockable storage container with sub-compartments to house the following items is required. This may be combined with items 17 and 36 above.
38. Four 20l drums of top up oil.
39. One 20kg grease drum with grease gun.
40. A suitable oil spill kit. This kit is to be supplied with the truck and is to contain as a minimum one 5kg bag of absorption medium, gloves, goggles, dust mask, dust pan and broom and a shovel. The absorption medium must contain organisms to convert a 20 litre hydrocarbon spill into bio-degradable products.
41. These compartments are to be such that the drums are secured to prevent excessive movement and spillage while the truck travels over rough terrain.
