Brief

OR862-I is an optical receiver designed to meet the requirements of modern HFC networks, it is equipped with two optical receivers which allow redundancy for forward path.

Adjustment of the optical receiver OR862-I has been simplified due to its microprocessor control unit that enables uninterruptible adjustment (AGC,slope,gain,etc.), what is extremely important especially for modern services. This solution allows to reduce costs of network maintenance, eliminate the necessity of plug-in modules stock and simplify installation and adjustment of the device.

OR862-I is equipped with Ethernet Communication Module (ECM), which enables remote monitoring and control of particular receiver parameters. It enables to monitoring and manage status of AGC settings, slope and level adjustment. Additionally it’s possible to monitor optical power of the receiver. The AGC circuit compensates changes in the optical power providing stable RF output level regardless of input signal fluctuations. Integrated LED display helps in installation and network diagnostic, shows optical input power level, RF output level eliminating the need for additional measuring equipment for technical staff.

OR862-I ptical optical receiver power range is at 2~-8dBm. When receiver input power at 0dBm, and dual outputs, each RF output level up to 110dBuV; single output level up to 114dBuV; when optical receiver power at -5dBm, C/N > 49dB.

~220V power-supply modes is available, the high-performance transforms circuit become + 24V, + 9V straight to optical receiver internal devices.

RF output level and slope are adjustable. Output port 1-2 are available, tap/split are available.

Reserve international standard network interface, easy to field upgrade

Optical AGC function,the output level changed within ±0.5dB, while input power changed at +1dBm~-6dBm

Open network management to meet the national standard, comply with SCTE HMS and IEC network management standard.
