WORK BACKGROUND:

1999 – to present: President of the Board of charity foundations Tabitha

Bulgaria and Tabitha 2000,

involved in cares for children in need in social institutions

and at risk (food, clothes, shoes, medicines, bed linen, toys ;

managing projects for improving living

conditions in orphanages by renovations, repairs, furnishing

painting;

organizing educational programs for less fortunate children

in computer literacy and English language, support for

school subjects like mathematics, science and literature;

vocational training in farming, cooking and bartending, beautician and massages and sewing for young people due to leave theorphanages because of age;

supporting children from risk families;

helping homes and hospices for old people;

arranging summer camps for Dutch, German and English

volunteers to orphanages in Bulgaria;

distributing humanitarian aid from abroadto social institutions

writing and presenting strict reports to donors and supporters;

“Baba Program” – providing retired “grannies” to help children in orphanages as their grandmothers.

Orphanages we work with at present: St. Sofia (60 children, age 0-3),Doganovo (73 children, age 6-19), Razliv (60 children, age 7-19), Roman (134 children, age 7- 21, half of them with mental disabilities), Mezdra (70 children with heavy mental and physical disabilities, age 5-19), Vratza (90 children, age 7-19), Dren (50 children, age 3-7), Gorski Senovets (60 children with heavy mental and physical disabilities, age 4-18) and few others.
