Dorothy married Hugh Murphy, born 1894, died 1949, and had Howard Murphy, born 1927, died 2000, James Murphy, Hugh Murphy, John Murphy, Roy Murphy, Erma Murphy, Helen Murphy, Norma Murphy, Edith Murphy, and Jessie Murphy.
FIND-A-GRAVE
Daughter of the late Frank and Edith Rose (Maul) Bassett. She was the last surviving member of her family. She leaves to mourn her passing, a son Roy McGee and companion Margaret Kelly of London, a daughter Marilyn and her husband Phil Bornais of Chatham and a daughter-in-law Eileen McGee of Wallaceburg, 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by hertwo sons: Lloyd Stanley and William Charles McGee, a daughter Hazel Corinne, daughter-in-law Lorraine McGee, brother Frank Bassett Jr. a sister Dorothy Murphy, a granddaughter Wendy McGee, grandson David Barber, great grandchild Samantha Sheppard and great great grandson Logan Murphy.
Mrs. McGee worked at Davies Nursing Home in Dresden until she retired at age 65. She resided for many years in Tupperville and Green Acres Apartments in Dresden. She leaves good friends, Alice London, Bertha Caron and Virginia Parker to mourn her passing
