1.Welcome – opened with the St. Peter Parish Prayer
2.Old Business: Parish Prayer at all Masses: Chris has asked Carol Bauer to have music ministers lead parish in Parish Prayer before all Masses. Fresh copies of prayer will be placed with new missel this week.
3.Year of Participation
a.Need to look at current activities and support rather than create more. Would be nice to have a master on-line calendar with all activities that could be reviewed with controlled access. ACTION: C Patritti to research calendar options and check with Cathy Herman. A Bly to check on bulletin vendor options.
b.Ministry Need List – Eucharistic ministers are up. Needs update request to be sent monthly and updated on the website. ACTION: C Patritti to send monthly and update.
c.Chili cook-off (Dec)– ministries encouraged to enter if interested. Notice sent to all ministries and those with needs.
d.Young Families Mass (Jan) – baptism celebration. ACTION: J Moritz to assist
e.Anniversary Mass (Feb) – Liturgy Committee, Marriage Encounter. ACTION: D Moore to follow-up
f.Parish-wide appreciation dinner – March 3, 2013
g.Friday Night Lights (April)– look at Spring due to gym schedule. ACTION: B Fitzgerald to contact Dominic about April date and to spearhead by Athletic Association.
h.St. Peterfest (May/June) – C Kern contact
i.Dive-in movie (July) –
j.College send-off (Aug) – Mass, Teresa Ebling, Ann Loida, Youth Group. ACTION: S Reynolds to start contact
k.Parish Picnic (Sep) – 9/29 from 1-4, Big shelter and ampitheater. ACTION: B Fitzgerald to check with park
4.Year of Faith: Discussed Treasury video series and Adult Formation Seek & Eat concept similar to Dinners for 8, dinner is hosted and watch a video to learn about the faith. More to come.
5.Communication Committee
a.Flocknote – on bulletin and video screens, 15-20 have signed-up, PTO on board, PSR next school year, will add photo directory, athletic association. Pew cards in December to gather large Christmas crowd. ACTION: C Kern to have in place
b.Need to run number of hits report
c.Bulletin on website but want to allow people to subscribe to receive
d.Need to add info on reconciliation
6.Annual Report (January 2013) – Gary is working on format, would like cost for previous version to compare to other options
7.Prayer Cards – ACTION: D Moore to spearhead
8.New Business
a.PLC Terms of Service – Need to invite 4 new members, start thinking! Who is our next chair and how long is the term? Suggest Finance Committee member.
b.Luke 18 – PLC to help with lunch. ACTION: C Patritti to post sign-up calendar to select who can provide what. Kern’s to provide pulled pork, need buns, chips, salad/fruit, and dessert. Need to check on drinks.
c.Archdiocese stewardship webinar – ACTION: C Kern to share calendar
d.PLC Party in Jan/Feb
e.Planning Meeting - Year of Generosity – look at 2 meetings in January. ACTION: C Kern to check calendar for availability.
f.Rosary CD was circulated
g.Parish Ministry Booklet – Look at September for full book. Create small 1 page with ministry listing for welcome packet and refer to website.
