Purpose Statement
To provide a coordination and administration service to the Learning Division projects, namely to coordinate and facilitate meetings with various stakeholders which may include relationship building or monitoring.

2.  Position Description

Main Outputs and Responsibilities for This Position / Time spent /
A.  Learnership Project Coordination
·  Evaluation and pre-screening of applications from training providers, public and private
·  Evaluation and pre-screening of learner applications from training providers, specifically public TVETs
·  Follow up and resolve queries with regards evaluation of applications
·  Arrange and/ or facilitate meetings with training providers, specifically public TVETs to; build relationships; prepare the college for implementation and monitor progress;
·  Arrange and/ or facilitate meetings with employer worksites to; build relationships; prepare the worksite for implementation and monitor progress;
·  Coordination and facilitating site visits and monitoring visits
·  Concluding contracting with stakeholders
·  Evaluation of submitted documents for learnership beneficiaries
·  Updating learnership spreadsheets to ensure that all applications, recommendations and progress is accurately captured / 60%
B.  INSETA Project Coordination
·  Arrange and/ or facilitate meetings with employer worksites and providers to; build relationships; prepare for implementation and monitor progress;
·  Coordination and facilitating site visits and monitoring visits
·  Collating and quality assuring regional document submissions
·  Act as general client liaison for INSETA funded projects / 20%
C.  Administration
·  Evaluate all documents submitted for funding purposes
·  Ensure that all admin files are complete according to the evidence requirements for application, commencement, progress, closure and monitoring reporting
·  Make travel and venue arrangements for meetings
·  Write reports on monitoring, site visits and lessons learnt at the end of projects
·  Update contracting spreadsheets
·  Complete reconciliation on all regional projects to establish funding and refunds if required
·  Complete regional project reports on a monthly basis / 20%

3.  Job Evaluation Criteria

A) Knowledge and Skills
Formal Education / ·  Matric plus 1 year qualification at NQF 5 and above
·  3 year diploma or degree would be an advantage
·  Project management, education or business administration qualification will be an advantage
q  Technical/
Legal Certification / ·  Valid Driver’s license and own motor vehicle
q  Experience / ·  Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a training environment
