Deueteronomy 32:36, 43

The Lord will judge his people and have compassion on his servants when he sees their strength is gone and no one is left, slave or free...he will take vengeance on his enemies and make atonement for his land and people.

Isaiah 53:5-6

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
