1. Place Students in Groups of 4-6, Having 1 Book for Each Student in the Group

DIRECTIONS:

1.  Place students in groups of 4-6, having 1 book for each student in the group.

2.  Students select 1st book to sample, and record the title and author on Book Pass form.

3.  Give students 2-3 minutes to sample the book by looking at pictures, the table of contents, or start from page 1, reading as far as they can until the teacher says stop.

4.  After the time ends, have students write a comment on the book and rate it on the form.

5.  Pass book to the person to the left (or right) and repeat steps 2-5 until all books are sampled.
